Samrat Bhandari is a UK-based entrepreneur, business and finance professional whose career has evolved across law, corporate governance, financial services, entrepreneurship, healthcare and, more recently, fintech and digital assets.

Educated at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, Samrat went on to study law and qualify as a Company Secretary in India before moving to the United Kingdom in 1997. He subsequently qualified as a Chartered Secretary in the UK and developed his career within financial services, corporate finance and entrepreneurial ventures.

Over more than two decades, his professional journey has included capital markets and corporate finance, business development, restructuring and advisory work, healthcare and care-sector businesses, and international commercial projects.

Today, his work increasingly focuses on fintech, digital assets, international business development and strategic advisory, with activities spanning the UK, UAE and India.

Samrat works on developing commercial relationships, identifying opportunities, structuring business propositions and bringing together people, capital, technology and markets.

An important part of his current work is also education and thought leadership. Through Samrat Talks, he aims to make subjects such as fintech, digital finance, cryptocurrency, business and entrepreneurship more understandable to a wider audience.

His professional philosophy has been shaped not only by achievement, but equally by setbacks, changing markets and the experience of rebuilding. He believes that business experience is measured not simply by successes, but by what a person learns from difficult decisions, failures and reinvention.
